The Image Window is used to display CCD images, dark frames and flat field images. As you move the mouse cursor over the image, the pixel coordinates and the pixel value are displayed in the Status Bar. If the image file header contains WCS information, or if the data reduction process has been completed, the sky-coordinates (Right Ascension and Declination) of the pixel under the mouse cursor are also displayed. If you hold down the [Shift] key while moving the mouse over the image, differential coordinates (pixel coordinates, Right Ascension and Declination, as well as Distance and Position Angle) will be shown.
Depending on the markings selected, various types of objects detected by the software will be marked by colored circles after the data reduction. Optionally, the residuals for the reference stars can be indicated, magnified by a factor set in the Markings dialog box. After the data reduction, you can also measure the position and brightness of any object on the image by clicking on it.
