Status Bar

The Status Bar displays various items of useful information:

As you move the mouse cursor over a Image Window of Blink Window, the pixel coordinates and the pixel value are displayed in the status bar. If the data reduction process has been completed before, the sky-coordinates (Right Ascension and Declination) of the pixel under the mouse cursor, as well as the magnitude of the target under the mouse cursor are also displayed, as shown in the screenshot above. If you hold down the [Shift] key while moving the mouse over the image, differential coordinates (pixel coordinates, Right Ascension and Declination, as well as Distance and Position Angle) will be shown.

As you move the mouse cursor over the menu or toolbars, a short description of the respective commands will be displayed in the Status Bar.

At the right end of the Status Bar, the name of the currently selected star catalog and the order of the fit for the plate constants set in the Program Settings, as well as the name of the Configuations File, from which the Program Settings are read, is displayed.
